Simplicity was born because I made some pillbox hats for the Accessory Fair and realized that I had only one or two hairstyles for hats. I wanted something simple, short, without flexi strands to pierce through your hair accessories – and vintage of course. Turned out that I liked my ‘perfect hat hair’ even better without hat!
And here a version with hat included – Simplicity on Sundays comes with an elegant Pillbox hat, colourscripted (18 colours!) and with black or white lace.
And here comes Pretty Polly – with flexible feathers, untamed and – well, pretty. And yes it was inspired by the sad sad ballad about Pretty Polly – and by that British friend of my mother who used to chirp “eeeeet’s a prrrrreeettty Pollllly ” whenever he saw my budgie.

Hello everybody,
I am closing ALEIDA on 30th June midnight slt and I hope not you will be sad to hear about this. It wasnt an easy decision for me, but my conclusion for closing is: I miss my RL – I have spent more time in SL than RL in the past 4 years and contributing 4 years of my life for Second Life. Last January I started to study to become Multimedia Designer and I will hopefully graduate in January 2013. I have noticed, that I didnt do very well in my 1st half year of studies and when the examens came, I was in panic. Lucky I worked up to get good marks though. But this is enough for me to say: I have to let SL be to be able to focus on my studies and full fill it with good results. Next semester the demands are much more higher than now. Some of you have asked me, if I will come back later after my studies: My simple answer is: I dont know – and I dont want to promise anything. One funny thing is, that my avatar is more famous than my RL person – not long time ago, I saw, that I have almost 1200 pple on my Aleida facebook friendlist where I only have 139 friends in my RL facebook, lol!

my first new release is the antique cameo jewelry set.
a dainty floral cameo with a hand drawn frame around it. complimenting beads dangle from the necklace and earrings. also includes a ring with a resizer! there are three different color schemes available.
my next release are the beaded boho accessory set.
sculpted accessories with a detailed beaded texture. the texture is from a vintage bag of my grandmother’s. lately i’ve been going through the things she left behind and am getting some real inspiration. you get a brooch, long shoulder chain purse, and headband per set. each set includes silver and gold metal texture options.

there is a new necklace gacha at the ALBERO gacha festival!
a gacha is a vendor that sends you one item at random. they’re usually low priced items, in different colors/styles. they’re also no copy/trans, so you can trade with friends. there are dozens and dozens of gachas at this festival, from some of your favorite stores in sl. check it out!

Just to let you know that Project FUR Japan has opened its doors and that we are taking part to support this amazing cause to help the animals of Japan who
were also effected by last months earthquake and tsunami. For this event I have created another Haiku skin in an exclusive make up and set out a few extra items that were part of Burning Chrome.
