RIDDLE – The Platinum Hunt

CHIC Management is putting on another fantastic event! The Platinum Hunt Deux began today and runs til August 31st. There’s a boatload of really great shops included in this hunt, definitely worth checking out. You can get all the info as well as hints on CHIC’s blog. Mine shouldn’t be too hard to find, a little hint from me: sit down and put your feet up in the main room, there’s coffee and snacks on the table ^^

The full outfit pictured above is my offering for this event. Inside the little tiffany blue box you will find a pair of retro glasses with white stripe detailing in grey, a special version of my unreleased high waisted skirt in black as well as a grey lace detailed mini tank.

Thistle Homes – Weathered Cottage

I’ve been working on a larger sort of Hampton-ish style cottage recently and had been thinking about making a smaller version of it when I agreed to make an item for the Summer Lovin’ Hunt by Royal Living Magazine so I just changed gears and worked on finishing the smaller version first.Â The Thistle Weathered Cottage is small but very spacious inside. The name is in reference to the exterior textures that can be changed; choose among three different weather options: Cloudy, Sunny, and Stormy. Not only can it reflect your favorite weather pattern, it can also reflect your current mood! The interior has three soft stucco tones to choose from all with creamy white trim. The downstairs is a large open space with wonderful light and a cute little staircase that leads up to a wonderful loft area, fantastic for a bedroom or office space. Ok i have rambled on long enough I bet your thinking .. Pictures … where are the pictures! Here they are!

Taxi to Thistle, to grab The Weathered Cottage look for a small cupcake towards the front of the shop, 45L from July 2nd to July 16th.

Taste of SL is back with another weekend installment as well. Fitting perfectly with the above Midsummer’s Hunt, ToSL has a “Once Upon a Time” theme this time around!

My item is a Unisex (because the guys need love too) necklace based on one of the most beloved Fantasy books & movies from our youthâ€¦ The Neverending Story.

Included is both Scripted and Unscripted versions of the necklace. The Scripted one opens up and shows off a special treat from the original book, itself. For those who are not aware, the book is split between text in green and purple to differentiate both Atreyu’s & Bastian’s stories. Also a phrase that Michael Ende placed throughout is in there to truly prove that everyone’s story is neverending.

JUST for ToSL, I’ve also included the non scripted necklace with the original German title on the cover and a larger Book prop for you to display if you wish. A pretty awesome deal for only $75L, huh?

RIDDLE – TOSL Hunt and Gacha Boardwalk Sale

Riddle is happy to be taking part in the TOSL one year anniversary hunt. The tunic pictured above is hidden somewhere inside the brand new Riddle main store. This outfit includes sculpted sleeves, shirt puff and belt as well as a flexi skirt. There is also a color and texture change HUD included for the belt allowing you to change both leather texture and color to achieve a ton of different looks.

In the spirit of the new main store I will be releasing several new items in the upcoming weeks as well as announcing a fun photo contest with some really great prizes so be sure to keep an eye out!

I’ve also been invited by the lovely folks at Taste of SL to take part in their boardwalk gacha sale.

There are three offerings from Riddle at the boardwalk gacha. I’ve never done one of these before so I had a lot of fun picking items and getting everything set up!

For those of you not familiar with what gacha is, basically it is a machine which you pay a small amount (in this case 25L for tights, 30L for the shrugs and 20L for eyes) which will then give you a random item. Typically these items are no copy/transfer because there is a chance you can get two of the same color. It’s a fun and cheap way to get some nice items as well as gifts since everything is transferable.

I’ve taken this opportunity to open the brand new main store on Atomic. I’ve been very busy working at finishing it up, it’s still a bit of a work in progress. I’ve got some new pieces which will be coming shortly as well as an upcoming photo contest with some really great prizes so keep an eye out!

the accessory fair begins now and runs through june 26! there are two beautiful egyptian themed sims filled with shops. croire is located at “The Dig”, and i have two brand new full releases for you guys, and i’m really excited about them!

my first new release is the antique cameo jewelry set.

a dainty floral cameo with a hand drawn frame around it. complimenting beads dangle from the necklace and earrings. also includes a ring with a resizer! there are three different color schemes available.

my next release are the beaded boho accessory set.

sculpted accessories with a detailed beaded texture. the texture is from a vintage bag of my grandmother’s. lately i’ve been going through the things she left behind and am getting some real inspiration. you get a brooch, long shoulder chain purse, and headband per set. each set includes silver and gold metal texture options.

A new and (kinda) new jewelry items for the ladies up on the New Release wall!

First is the Paladin’s Promise necklace which I promised (no pun intended) would be out later on in more colours.

RIDDLE – CHIC Limited + Easter Goodies!

Just a quick post to let everyone know I am participating in CHIC Limited this month. The event runs from April 16th til April 26th and features a bunch of designers like vive9, peqe, Candy Doll and loads more. The theme this month is “cherry blossoms”. I didn’t want to do the usual asian thing that comes to my mind when I think of cherry blossoms so I did a new and exclusive version of the meia tunic in special colors with special cherry blossom beaded trim.

These tunics come in sets of 2, each consisting of the top/dress on all layers as well as sculpted cuffs, shirt puff, belt and flexi skirt. As with the meia tunic, a color and texture change HUD is included for the belt so you can customize your look. The pink and pink trim versions of these tunics will be 100% exclusive to CHIC Limited and will be retired once the event ends.

I’m also taking part in a fun little easter egg hunt on the Jersey Shore sim for the next week. Many shops have hidden eggs not only in their shops but all over the sim. The eggs are 10L each but I think you’ll find most of the items in them are items from the creator’s shops that are typically for sale for much more.

Mine shouldn’t be too hard to find but here’s a hint: two of them are hiding inside the store but one managed to escape and is waaay up. Inside the eggs you will find a special version of the mini skirt available in store, two polo shirts and one of the cableknit cutie tops also available for sale in store.

I am participating in Fashion for Life, SLâ€™s longest-runningÂ and most successful fashion fair. All donations go to SL Relay for Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Running March 12-22 across 9 sims, this yearâ€™s theme will be â€œBeyond Black and White,â€ embodying the spirit of cancer survivors everywhere as they find hope rising out of the dark diagnosis of cancer. Spread over the sims will be over 180 stores with a hunt and gatcha areas, all with the goal of raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Fashion for Life will feature the best designers from around the globe.

RIDDLE – Fashion For Life

Fashion for Life (formerly Relay for Life by Nevar Lobo) kicked off yesterday and is now in full swing. As in previous years I am participating with 4 donation items with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society.

The event runs from March 12th til March 26th. There are over 200 designers spread across 9 sims offering everything from clothes and shoes to hair and skins. There are some really lovely things to be had and all in support of a fantastic cause. The organizers have put an amazing effort into the event this year.

This year the theme is Beyond Black and White. This translates into a lot of designer’s items as well as the sim builds themselves, each of which is unique in design and entirely black and white. You can find Riddle on the Bourke White sim sponsored by Elikatira.

First up, Spring Has Sprung is a flirty little spring dress in fun patterns. The two dresses pictured above are part of my ACS donation and are available exclusively at Fashion For Life. I’ve also released two other patterns which you can find at the event which are not donation related.

Spring Has Sprung comes on all available layers and includes a sculpted skirt with attached belt.

Additionally I’ve donated a set of my corduroy pants in spring colors. These come in sets of 3 as pictured above and are the same pants available in the main store just in different colors. As with the dresses these are currently available only at Fashion For Life.

Every year this event just keeps getting better and better. This year the team has done everything within their power to make your shopping experience as fun and lag free as possible. They’ve also added some fun features such as a hunt and each sim has it’s own gacha area.

Let the Good Times Roll w/ CoLLisions

Holy cow, it seems like ages since I last sent out any infoâ€¦

Well a lot has been going on and instead of giving you all a ton of little notes I decided to bunch it all up in one nice, neat package.

Alright first off there are 3 new releases on the Release wall:

I decided to try my hand at some more Mehndi designs and this is the first one. It’s got elegant floral patterns on the lower neckline and in the middle of the back. But I also added some hand & arm decorations as well to make it look more like a RL Mehndi.

I know gaming geeks will get the naming reference, but for those whom are not into the Dungeons & Dragons thingâ€¦ Lolth is the Spider Queen Goddess of the Drow Elves. She’s not exactly a nice deity either, but still I thought it would be good to pay homage to the arachnid craft. Some of the webs are very delicate and faint so you’d really have to try it on to see all the detail. This is meant to be a Men’s tattoo but if ladies would like to try it as well they are welcome.

This is based off the SATOR square from Roman times, which some believe was used as a propaganda piece. It is especially cool that it’s based off a four-times palindrome square (often thought of as a symbol of good luck) with magical properties. Underneath the square is some stylish stars and moon to give it a more arcane feel.

Yup it’s Twisted Hunt season again! The theme this time is Crows or ‘The Raven’ by Edgar Allen Poe. There’s 2 gifties in the little spinning puzzle box this timeâ€¦ a tattoo based on the Poem and a Raven Skull bead chain necklace with black feather & ankh detailing.

-Finally- someone thought of doing a Gridwide Hunt just for Tattoo stores! \o/

This one is a much smaller Hunt if you’re not ready just yet to tackle the 200+ shops in Twisted. I made a special facial tattoo for this one. As much as I love Poe, I will admit that I also love Beethovenâ€¦ so this Gift is based on one of his many masterpieces.

Look for a small nail polish bottle in the main store to grab it.

~ Two Sisters Market Mardi Gras Hunt ~

Yup Mardi Gras is just around the corner, and then some of us will have to deal with 40 days of Lent (bummer). But that’s why we all have one last grand party to enjoy the finer things in life before dealing with the sacrifice. In any case, the Two Sisters Market will be hosting a Mardi Gras Hunt from March 5th to March 8th. This is a Fantasy-based Sim for those whom are not familiar and full of beautiful scenery and shops.

FINALLYâ€¦

With all the awesomeness of Mardi Gras, I’ve decided to place all the Jewelry on Sale! From March 5th to March 12th all the Jewelry (yes that includes satellite locations) will be 50% off!

What’s even better is that now I’ve finally gotten some Jewelry Demos out, so if you weren’t sure about a jewelry piece before, you can grab a demo and check it out! Just remember that the Demos are No Mod, so if it’s a little small or big just remember that you can always resize the real piece.
